schmoo > This is probably my favorite photo of the tower. It was a gorgeously warm, bright, sunny day. The park was flooded with light and good humor.

schmoo > L'Arc de Triumphe, looking up. We spent a lot of time on the "shores" of the traffic circle, just astounded at how crazy and seemingly careless the drivers are. It is a complete free-for-all, indeed, that sets your heart pounding because every car, bus, truck, motorcycle, and bicyclist is always on the verge of having a horrible accident! It took us a while to figure out and find the underground staircase to get over to the Arch. There was no way we were going to cross traffic on that street.
